MEP / MEP Renewal Multi Engine Piston

The MEP Certification allows the pilot to fly multi engine airplanes. It is a necessary qualification to follow the complete course. Achieving the certification proves to be a worthy, high-level experience, also for those who are willing to widen their personal knowledge background.
The admission to the theoretical and practical course requires the possession of the PPL(A) Licence, alongside with 70 hours of flight as Pilot in Command.

Specifications:

Admission requirements

  • being in possession of, at least, a PPL Licence
  • Having flown an airplane, as a pilot in command, on a fixed wing aircraft
  • being in possession of a medical suitability certificate of  II class or higher
  • mastering of English language at a certified ICAO 4 level

Practical Examination Requirements

  • having passed a multiple choice test, with a result of no less than 75% correct answers
  • having flown for at least 6 hours: 2.5 of which, symmetrical, and no less than 3.5 hours, asymmetrical flight, (one engine out)

During the training practice will be used  the “Accademia del Volo” airplane PA 34-220T SENECA V
