The ENAC certification
The “Italian Civil Aviation Authority” (ENAC), the, is the Italian authority for the technical regulation, certification and surveillance in the civil aviation sector, under the control of the Transport and Infrastructure Ministry. It is a non-economic public authority, with its own regulatory, organizational, administrative, patrimonial and accounting autonomy.

ATO is an organization which provides theoretical-practical training, by means of modular and/or integrated courses to get professional or non-professional licences, enabling to fly airplanes or helicopters. It also organizes courses for the issue and renewal of certificates, distinguished by class and type, and courses to get the qualification of flight instructor.
ATO represents the highest level of Training Organization and it is regulated by the European Regulation 1178/2011 and its amendments.
